Different Facets of Prayer at Christian Life Center

2 Corinthians 10:4 (NIV) says, "The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds."

At Christian Life Center we put this biblical truth to action with our Prayer Army.  Prayer Army volunteers commit to pray for all aspects of CLC’s ministries on a daily basis.  If you are interested in getting involved with our Prayer Army or if you would like more information, call our office (757-220-2100) or send an email to Danny Amoako-Boateng at dboateng@w-clc.com.

Prayer Chain - The Prayer Chain is utilized to distribute requests for prayer within the church.  It connects over 40 people to immediate needs requiring God's divine intervention.  We believe that as we pray, God hears our prayers and touches each situation.  Etta Eggleston oversees the Prayer Chain.  Do you have a prayer request?  Email Etta at eggleston@prodigy.net.

Pre-Service Prayer - The Prayer Room (3rd floor) is open from 9:00-9:45am on Sunday mornings for intercessory prayer specifically for the services that day.  Part of the strength that God manifests in our services is a direct result of the prayers of our God's faithful people.  Join us as we align our heart to the Lord through the power of prayer.

Corporate Prayer - The call to corporate prayer takes place periodically on Wednesday evenings or during special meetings.  This is a gathering of the body for praise and prayer.  The focus of prayer often covers our community, government, military, and world events.  Specific dates can be found on our online calendar.
